What is success?

Isn't it thought-provoking that everyone wants to be successful but everyone has a different definition of success?

For some, success means being a good parent/friend/lover/mentor, for some it means having a car and a fancy house, for others it means building a profitable business and for some it simply means being happy.

Another really interesting thing about success is that we don't hear anyone saying that he/she is successful. It is something we say about others when we think they are successful according to our own definition of success. Isn't this crazy?

In my opinion, the best definition of success is from Maya Angelou:

“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.”

I read another definition I really liked:

"Success is becoming the best you can be."

What does success mean for you?
