Random act of kindness

Every time I posted on LinkedIn, it was EQE related. Recently, I've been thinking whether I want to stay active now that EQE - at least for 2021 - is over. I feel like the content on LinkedIn is rather boring and many LinkedIn posts do not really offer any value to the reader. (Important exceptions are Daniel X. Thomas's, Bastian Best's and Preston RICHARD's posts.)

What is LinkedIn good for anyway? Advertising? Networking? Probably anything that we make out of it. What I most like about LinkedIn is the possibility to connect with people from the same profession regardless of where we live or whether we ever met in person. But connecting usually stops at adding a new contact and we never really start a conversation.

Let's do something random but positive. Something that can also help us know more people and know more about people. If you feel like it, tag a patent attorney who you look up to but is not your colleague. The goal is not advertising your own company but to support someone else.

I will start. My role model in the IP profession is – deliberately choosing another woman – Oana Boncea. I met her in a CEIPI course which she was teaching. She is really smart, funny, patient and kind. She explains patent related matters extremely well.

Let's brighten up someone's day!
