2nd Munich Meetup

The second Fillun community event is coming! 🤩

The Meetup on 7th September is sponsored by CocreateIP! This generous sponsorship means that they are covering the 50% of the restaurant’s fees.

CocreateIP is a patent boutique focusing on the prosecution of European patent applications. They have particular expertise in renewable energy, including energy storage technology and related green technologies such as electric vehicles, environmental technology, and biotechnology. CocreateIP is seeking ambitious European patent attorneys and candidates who possess strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for innovation, to join their dynamic team.

Images from the restaurant, Josef Osteria Biologica. It looks great, right?

After an enjoyable first Meetup in April, I am inviting you for the second one! It will take place after your summer holidays but before Oktoberfest.

Ignacio Lobato, Nina Ferara and Gabriele Honecker are joining this Meetup as well!

The details

Date: 17:00 - 23:30 on Saturday, 7 September

Program: Informal meeting to network, chat, eat and drink

Plan: 17:00-17:30 Arriving, start ordering drinks, enjoying the delicious Italian starters
17:30 Welcome (maybe even a short welcome speech? :))
18:00-19:00 Speed networking (optional)
from 19:00 Pizza, drinks, spending a casual evening together

Location: Josef Osteria Biologica (small Italian restaurant offering organic food and amazing pizzas)
We will have the whole restaurant for ourselves, for the whole evening! There are places inside and outside as well, so if the weather is nice, we can enjoy it outside.

Address: KlenzestraĂźe 99, 80469 MĂĽnchen, Germany
(1 km from Sendlinger Tor or 550 m from FraunhoferstraĂźe U Bahn station)

Fee: 25 EUR/person, this includes the reservation of the whole restaurant for ourselves, dinner (Italian starters and pizzas to share) and unlimited drinks (water, beer, Italian wine, lemonade, Spritz) during the whole evening!

(The full price would be EUR 50/person, but CocreateIP is paying 50%.)

Who can attend: Any recently or partially qualified European patent attorneys and EQE candidates who already started their journey to become European patent attorneys. (You don’t have to live in Munich. If you are interested in meeting like-minded people, please feel free to come also from other cities/countries!)

However, you can only come if you have registered as we need to inform the restaurant about the number of people attending. Thank you for your cooperation!

EPC.app is supporting the Meetup by providing a discount code for the participants. A discount code has already been created exclusively for the participants of the Meetup. It can be used until end of September 2024. It will offer a 30% reduction for the first year on one annual license (student or regular) of the first subscription of either EPC.App or PCT.App (the second App anyway comes at a discount of 40%).

After finishing our Greek dinner at the first Munich Meetup :)

Thanks everyone for coming!

My future plans: If it all goes well and there are enough people interested in coming, I would love to organise two Meetups per year, to strengthen our IP community and to help you build professional relationships, make new friends, form EQE study groups or find new positions.
