Would you like to have constant support, motivation and a well-structured study plan during your preparation for the Paper F exam?
After receiving many positive feedbacks about my previous Pre-exam study groups and seeing the candidates’ results, I decided to organise a study group for the first Paper F exam in 2025 too.
The aim of this group is to create a friendly, supportive group of EQE candidates and go through all EPC and PCT topics together, by discussing multiple legal questions weekly. The goal is to study a little every week so that you will not be stressed and overwhelmed in the last weeks before your exam.
We will spend most of our energy on preparing for the legal part so that you can maximise your chances of passing Paper F for the first time. Preparing well for the legal part will also provide you with a strong foundation for the next Modules (especially M2 and M4).
The group will start on 10th October and will end on 19th March. All meetings will take place online, on Thursday afternoons.

Paper F study group
Dates: 10 October 2024 - 19 March 2025
(Paper F 2025 will be held on Friday, 21 March.)
Places: Minimum 8, maximum 12 (on a first come, first served basis)
Meetings: Thursdays 16:00 (CET)
The meetings are about 90-100 minutes long depending on the questions and our discussion.
All meetings are online, via Zoom.
Study plan: We will have 15 weeks to go through all legal topics (starting with PCT) in a planned way and 2 weeks doing claims analysis exercises. The study plan also includes a 1-month long winter break during the Christmas period and the discussion of the legal parts of 8 previous Pre-exams (in the last 4 weeks). The exact study plan will only be shared with the members, after signing up.
Method: I will provide an overview of a certain legal topic and then give you homework to practice that topic. Every week, you will have to answer 6-8 legal questions (from DeltaPatents ‘L’ book) until the next meeting. I will always try to pick different questions within a topic so that we can cover as many different issues as possible. During our weekly online meetings (on Thursdays) we will discuss the questions of the week together, some other questions as well. This way, you can also learn from the other candidates. We usually also discuss the frequent mistakes and how you could find the answer in the different reference books. Our meetings are informal and interactive.
This study group program includes:
21 online group meetings with Zsofia (held via Zoom), each meeting about 90-100 minutes long;
Discussion of about legal 180 questions altogether (about 100 questions in the first months and then 80 questions from previous Pre-exams), highlighting frequent mistakes and discussing difficulties;
Discussion of the legal parts of 8 previous Pre-exams;
Discussion of 2 previous Pre-exam claims analysis;
Fully online meetings, allowing you to join from anywhere;
A copy of the recorded sessions (for the group members only) so that you can rewatch any parts of the meetings in case you cannot join every meeting.
Of course, if you only have time for half of the questions or if you miss a few meetings, that is completely fine. Everyone has busier periods. I will record our meetings so that you can watch them later.
Joining this study group comes at a weekly fee (invoiced every 5-6 weeks). Joining the group is only possible for the full period of the 21 weeks.
Correction of your answers is not included in the fee.

You should NOT join the study group, if you:
Are looking for magic tricks to pass the exam;
Would rather only study in the last few weeks before the exam;
Already have a study group at work whom you can study together regularly with;
Cannot or do not want to study on your own before/after our meetings;
Don’t have time to do the ‘homework’, i.e. answer the weekly legal questions;
Aren’t interested in discussing the EPC and PCT with other people;
Aren’t interested in other candidates’ questions and struggles.
