Real-time e-EQE methodology sessions in 2023

Many of you requested that I do “real-time e-EQE methodology sessions” in 2023 as well. This was the most popular event last year, I have received so many positive feedbacks! A lot of you said that you used the same methodology and passed. (See a few feedbacks below.)

I will do 2019 Paper D2, 2019 Paper C, 2017 A and 2017 B in real time, sharing my screen via Zoom. You can book your place for any of these group sessions separately. I will only organise one session for each of these exams, as unfortunately my time is limited. However, if you miss these dates, you will be able to purchase the recordings.

Dates:

Tuesday, Jan 31, 18:00 (CET) - 2019 Paper D2
Thursday, Feb 2, 18:00 (CET) - 2019 Paper C
Tuesday, Feb 14, 18:00 (CET) - 2017 Paper A
Thursday, Feb 16, 18:00 (CET) - 2017 Paper B

Length:

These session will be about 3-4 hours long, available only for a small group of candidates (max. 25 people). If you have to leave earlier, you will be able to watch the recording.

About the meeting:

With the screen sharing option in Zoom, I will show what tables and templates I used, how I wrote my answer electronically and how I tried to save time. My method is perfectly suitable for WISEflow and I am only using one simple printed table for Paper D2 and C. For Paper A and B, I am not using any tables.

The meetings will be recorded. If you participate, you will also get the recording. After the meeting, the recording will be available for purchase.

Disclaimer:

Please note that unfortunately WISEflow cannot be used when screen sharing, but I will write in a simple text editor to have similar exam conditions.

Please note that these meetings are not substantial EQE trainings where you can ask me anything or where we discuss different legal issues.

Please note that it is not possible to finish a Paper C in 3-4 hours, so when it comes to the 2019 Paper C meeting, I will only be able to do about 60% of the exam.

These meetings are focused on showing a possible EQE methodology suitable for WISEflow.

Previous feedbacks

“Thank you very much for the meeting and for taking the time to dive into D2 in real time. I think it is really useful to see the methodology applied in real time and, especially, with the new online format. This is something that other courses seem to lack for the time being. It also has become much clearer to me how to structure the answer and not to forget too much when "stating the obvious".“

Dr. Felix Schröter (Patentanwalt)

“Thank you for your great presentation and for forwarding all the materials from your last Paper C webinar.
Your session was really helpful. I have attended one of the renowned preparation courses for Paper C, but we never got into real-time practice of the paper and with such an accurate simulation of exam conditions as you provided last Friday. Thank you very much. The job you're doing for EQE candidates is great.”

Bernat Serra (Patent Consultant)

“Thank you again for the nice presentation! The method you used is very efficient and helps in saving time during the exam, which is probably one of the biggest issues for many candidates.”

Gustav Boije af Gennäs (Patent Specialist)

“Thanks for all your help with the EQE exams (resources, sessions and general advice)!  The 4-hour Paper C session I joined where you went through the 2021 paper in real-time was, in particular, incredibly helpful and I'm sure the main reason why I passed.  Keep doing what you're doing!”

“A short note to let you know that I passed paper C on the first attempt. In fact, I passed all four on the first attempt - I'm over the moon! My reason for contacting you is to let you know that I found your paper C live run-through invaluable - many thanks!”

“Thank you very much for your Paper C-session and for providing the video and materials afterwards. I really liked the way you went through the exam. It was easy to follow and well explained. Keep up the good work!”
